training session or tel 0780 6332157 for details I began training in Taekwon-Do in 1986 in Leicester and
was promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt in 1990 by Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha, OCM,
9th Dan. I was promoted to 2nd Dan in 1992, 3rd Dan in 1995, 4th Dan
in 1999, 5th Dan in 2005 by Grandmaster Rhee and 6th Dan in 2010 by Master
Nicholls. I began instructing Taekwon-Do in 1991
at Parklands Leisure Centre in Oadby, Leicester where my Institute has
since produced some 30 + black belts, some going on to become instructors
themselves. My students have earned many national and international
championship medals. I have organised and hosted: UK
Open Championships in Leicester 1995, UKTA 30th anniversary event at Parklands
Leisure Centre 1997, the Millenium International
Instructors Course 2000 at Parklands, conducted jointly by Grandmaster Rhee Ki
Ha and Master Choi Jung Hwa. I have been instructed by the founder of Taekwon-Do, the late General Choi Hong Hi, also by Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha, Grandmaster Choi Jung Hwa and Master Trevor Nicholls and I am committed to the teaching of Taekwon-Do as laid down by the founder. My Institute is affiliated to the International Taekwon-Do Federation, Imperial Taekwondo Association and the British Taekwon-do Council. As a practitioner of Yoga and Pilates I include many of these techniques in my classes as perfect body conditioning exercises for Taekwon-Do. As a professional artist, I also create original artworks as sculptures and plaques for Taekwon-Do associations, instructors and students as trophies and awards.
